Frequently asked questions regarding installation

PKL employs fully trained, Gas Safe Registered engineers that are available to install, commission and provide staff training for you. Along with this, we can also provide installation of water and waste with prior agreement. If the equipment is gas and is hired as stand alone equipment, then PKL provide raised, modular, free-standing manifolds which are positioned at the rear of the equipment and can be linked to propane cylinders in a gas cage or bulk gas tank. Our Gas Safe registered engineers can link multiple items of equipment in this manner safely and efficiently, to create a hazard free environment.

Q: Do you install Portable Kitchens and catering equipment?

A: Either you or PKL can install the Portable Kitchens and catering equipment. All of our engineers are Gas Safe registered and trained. On confirmation of hire, all service details are made available so that services can be properly planned. Once the Portable Kitchen is fully fitted and providing all necessary services are ready for connection, you could be cooking in less than 60 minutes.

Q: Can you install Temporary Kitchens and catering equipment in a field?

A: Yes. Our Portable Kitchens are specifically designed for sites with no services. If you plan to locate the temporary kitchen on a Greenfield site, we can organise freshwater tanks, waste tanks, LPG supplies and generators.
