Hospital Catering Solutions

PKL has supplied a wide range of solutions to both NHS and private hospitals, ranging from coldrooms and items of catering equipment to full-scale staff and visitor kitchen and restaurants used on site for a number of years while existing facilities undergo refurbishment.  

In addition, we can also provide a wide selection of regeneration catering facilities such as blast chillers and mobile hot cupboards, which have been used to provide hot food for hospital wards. We also often provide ancillary units such as coldrooms or dry storage units to provide extra capacity during busy times of the year.

As well as temporary solutions, we have also supplied our KitchenFM permanent kitchen facilities management service to the NHS.

Care Home Kitchens

PKL has supplied temporary kitchen facilities to many of the leading care home groups and individual nursing homes throughout the UK. We have developed a specialist "Care Home Kitchen" aimed specifically at this sector, which is widely used by nursing homes undergoing a kitchen refurbishment.

The Care Home Kitchen is a compact portable unit which can produce between 20-250 meals per day, and is ideal for any nursing home undergoing a refurbishment or in need of temporary catering facilities at short notice.
