Portable Kitchen and dining emergency facility for school
PKL supplied an emergency kitchen to a school that had suffered an arson attack during the summer holidays, completely destroying existing facilities on site.
As a matter of urgency, the County Council needed to find a temporary kitchen and dining solution for provision of lunchtime meals for the 600 pupils at the school.
The emergency kitchen required production, preparation, dishwashing and office areas, as well as dry storage and coldrooms.
PKL supplied a Triton Portable Kitchen complex, which was delivered and installed in three days before the beginning of the new term.
The facility remained on site for 18 months, providing temporary accommodation during the rebuild of the old kitchen.
