Temporary kitchen and dining complex onsite for 3 years
PKL supplied an interim kitchen and dining facility for the research staff of a leading pharmaceutical company, which accommodated 200 covers three times a day for three and a half years.
The facility was on site while the existing restaurant and kitchen were demolished to make way for the construction of a brand new scientific research centre.
The turnkey package included design, supply and installation of an interim kitchen and dining complex. Foundation piers were constructed to ensure a level base for the facilities.
The lead time for the project was three weeks, including site preparation, installation, handover and staff training.
The temporary facility included 2 x production kitchens, preparation area including walk-in chiller and freezer areas, dry stores, potwash area, staff toilets, office and cash office, dining room - 430sqm including foodservice area, shop and coffee lounge.
