Production facility used to make 250,000 sandwiches a week
PKL supplied a tailor made portable production facility in Ireland for a leading pre-pack sandwich manufacturer and distributor.
The facility provided an interim solution for five years while a new purpose built factory was constructed.
The turnkey package, including design, supply and installation of production facilities, was designed to enable the production of 250,000 sandwiches per week whilst complying with specific building regulations, with all production areas to be temperature controlled (10-14°C).
The facility included 120ft x 20ft production halls, refrigeration, dishwashing, staff canteen and office accommodation, and was delivered six weeks from placement of order.
