Relocatable rapid deployment kitchens delivered around the world
PKL Rapid Response provides relocatable kitchens and support facilities for remote international sites. We have an impressive record of delivering fast-track facilities to the world's military forces. Our kitchens are also ideal for use in different scenarios such as oil exploration, major construction sites and relief work.
Options range from bespoke containerised units, 'softwall' tented solutions and modular System Kitchens to schemes that are composed from 'off the shelf' ex-rental portable kitchens. As well as kitchen units, support facilities such as laundries, bakeries, restaurants and ablution blocks can be provided.
Containerised
Highly robust, ISO rated containerised systems that can be deployed as either a single unit or a larger open span facility. The containers conform to ISO standards and are readily transportable anywhere in the world by land, sea or air. Designed to a 25 year lifespan, the units can be repeatedly relocated.
System Kitchens
For more permanent facilities the best solution might be a System Kitchen. Designed to take advantage of the latest off-site construction methods, a System Kitchen is relocatable whilst conforming to full construction standards. It offers a facility equivalent to a traditional construction but with a very much reduced lead time.
Dining, Servery and Support Facilities
Other units are available to support the facility and widen the scope offered to provide a fuller 'camp' solution. Facilities available include dining areas, bakeries, laundries and ablution blocks in either containerised, "tented" or modular formats.
Tented
Either as a supplement to a containerised kitchen such as a large scale dining area, or as a solution in its own right, a tented structure can make an ideal rapid response facility. Ready to ship with prime and ancillary equipment, both traditional fabric / softwall tents and more sophisticated 'inflatable' structures can be deployed.
Ex-rental
PKL has the largest fleet of portable kitchen units in the world. Where an extremely rapid delivery is required, projects can be delivered utilising kitchens and equipment drawn directly from the PKL fleet. This can be the quickest way to get a facility on the ground and PKL ex-rental schemes have been deployed by military forces globally over the last 15 years.
